It is our great privilege at Camp Fairview to rent our facilities and staff to likeminded church groups. Have you ever wished that you could design your own camp program? Pick the speakers that you feel your group needs to hear? Choose the games and activities that are best suited to your group? Decide on your own music, schedule, food, etc. Renting Camp Fairview may be your solution.
Imagine what could happen with a week away from the world’s influences; an entire week to train your people. At Camp Fairview you will be able to have camp with your group, however you want it to be.
You will also find:
1. Great camp facilities. Camp Fairview is located on 150 acres in Athens, TN where you will find everything you need to have camp. Our cabins, bath house, pool, auditorium and more will be newly renovated for the 2010 camp season. At our camp you will find hiking trails, sports fields, outdoor and indoor meeting areas, everything that you need to have camp. We even have special accommodations for speakers.
2. Quick access to the outdoor activities of the Smoky Mountain National Park. Camp Fairview is only about 20 miles from the Cherokee National Forest. Rafting on the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers, spelunking at the Lost Sea, and hiking in the Smoky Mountains are just a few of the outings within a short drive from our camp. If that isn’t enough for you, Chattanooga, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Knoxville are all manageable day trips from our camp.
3. A great location within a few hours of most of the southeast. Camp Fairview is located on I-75 midway between Knoxville and Chattanooga, making it accessible to most of the southeast. The camp is within a four hour drive of Atlanta, Birmingham, and Nashville and within six hours or Charlotte, Winston-Salem, and Louisville.
4. Good food. At Camp Fairview, we don’t scrimp on food. We make every effort to feed your group good food, and lots of it. Providing preparation, service, and clean up for three full meals a day, most people will eat better at Camp Fairview than at home.
5. A reasonable price. Many Christian camps charge as much as $260 a week per camper. At Camp Fairview, we charge less than half of that, $120 a camper. A minimum of 40 campers are required to rent the camp. (Smaller camp groups may rent the camp but must pay for 40 campers). One worker is free for every ten paying campers.
