Our mission

A desert place for the local church.

“And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest awhile: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.” Mark 6:31

Our mission is to give the local church a place to come apart and rest awhile. We have beautiful buildings, beautiful land, and wonderful food, and it’s all yours to rent. Bring your group for a week of teen or junior camp, or a simple weekend retreat, and run your own program.

Camp Fairview started as a ministry of Fairview Baptist Church in 1974 with one purpose: to see souls won to Christ and Christians brought closer to Him. Over the years, thousands of campers from our area have had the privilege of attending a Christian camp, and through that, the opportunity to respond to gospel preaching.
